me?teaching?

Today i went for a seminar organized by my friends (thank you to all the committee members) which basically discussed on how to become a good teacher bla...bla..bla...to be truth, i only listened to the first speaker (honestly she's the only speaker who had helped me to stay awake), but to the second and third speakers...sorry, encik and puan you both are not interesting enough to be listened to. well, i am not going to elaborate more on the content of the seminar (which i personally do not really sure of...huhu), but one thing that i am absolutely certain, i wanted to be like the first speaker Puan A whom to me a very dedicated, funny yet sporting teacher (no wonder she gets the title as master teacher for english) . i agree with her when she said that to be a good english teacher, one need to be opened in the sense that allowing students to point out anything that they think right or vice versa. if we look at the scenario today, most teachers practice the one way communication style, which to me isn't good. but things like that happen in school where only the teachers 'talk' while the students 'listen'. well, easy said than done...to change the attitude of the teachers is one thing, but to change the perception of the students towards english language itself is another thing that a teacher need to ponder...so,will i be a good teacher then?or am i to be like other teachers in schools who take the teaching profession for granted?me?teaching?
